Unusual All Bisque Flapper Type Dolls In Bisque Chairs

Here is an unusual little pair of all bisque German dolls sitting in tiny bisque chairs. They are sewn to the chairs with a little piece of string. The chairs are incised Germany on the backs. Dolls appear to be possibly Hertwigs. They are wire jointed with painted features & molded painted hair.The dolls are hard to measure in the sitting position but I think about 2" tall. The chairs are painted green with a woven design to look like wicker. Very nicely done. The dolls are simply dressed with her in cotton & he in 2 pc. felt jacket & pants. The jacket is rust with tiny polka dots. All look in good condition other than the painting a bit crude on his slippers & some imperfections on his hair done in the making. I have had them in my collection for many years & have never seen another one like this with the original chairs. Darling pair & great for a doll house.
