An authentic "Coromandel" 6 panel screen has traditional hand carving into built up layers of different colored lacquer, creating a summer palace scene on one side, the reverse is a natural garden view. Subtle colors and delicate borders are beautiful against the black lacquer ground.

This vintage Asian work of art is about 40 years old, and has various mars and touch ups, see photos. Feet are brass. Panels are 16" wide and 7' tall, so stretched flat against a wall, width is 8,' and if placed in the usual "accordion" position, width is about 6."
