Hand carved of solid walnut about 1880, this crest or crown is architectural salvage from bookcases in an 1880 era home.

The artistic detailing and piercing is masterful, the original finish is very well preserved on this American crafted fragment. Size is 30" wide, 8" deep and 9" tall.
