Georgian Country Pine 1800's Corner Cupboard

An authentic late Georgian period corner cupboard dates from the early 1800's. Classical dentil molding and fluted pilasters are hand carved in pine. Doors have raised panels and carved wooden pegs at the joints. The curved back is wainscoting, held with hand wrought nails.

The exterior finish is very good with traces of old paint, the shaped shelves and wainscoting have old paint inside.

This wonderful antique from England has lots of character - mars, stains and losses. There is a slight flex due to how it was made, but this is strong and very usable period furniture that combines elegant lines and rustic charm. There are repairs to the base.

Measurements of this historic display cupboard are 43" wide across the crown molding, 73 1/2" tall and 21" deep at the center.
