Louis XVI 1915 Burl Bed, Bronze Mounts
A wonderful Louis XVI design bed is matched Circassian walnut burl with cast bronze mounts. Expertly crafted about 1915, it fits a standard modern full or double size mattress as shown.
The satiny finish is excellent, solid bronze mounts are complete except for a small piece missing on the end of one side rail.
Elegant furniture in the French manner, this exceptional bed was actually made in America.
Dimensions are 60" wide, 80" long, the headboard is 66" tall and the foot board is 37" high.

The standard full mattress and box spring used for the photos is 20" thick.
