Oak 1900 Antique Watchmaker Workbench, 12 Drawers, Parts Catcher

Made for a watch or clockmaker about 1900, a solid oak work bench has 12 drawers of various sizes and a pull out "parts catcher" with a fabric bottom, to keep tiny screws and parts from rolling away.

The finish is in excellent condition, preserving the stains, mars and wear of long use. Sides and back are paneled. Drawer pulls are original. There are holes in the top where a leather belt once ran a lathe for making and polishing small components. The floor is worn on this American made furniture, there is a small cubbyhole for tools.

This antique was used with a stool, size is 40" wide, 20" deep and 40" tall.
