Chinese Carved Coromandel 4 Panel Garden Scene Screen

An authentic Chinese "coromandel" or carved lacquer screen has four panels with an imperial garden scene, expertly hand carved through many layers of muted shades.

The reverse side is carved with delicate greenery against a satiny black ground. There are numerous repairs and touch ups on this vintage Asian work of art from about 50 years ago, see photos.

Each panel is 16" wide and 7' tall, so width if stretched flat on a wall would be 8,' if partly folded accordion style, width would be about 6' wide as shown.
