Brauer Handpainted Red Tiger Lily Bowl Artist Signed - BURTON

This beautiful handled bowl features bright orange-red tiger lilies, green leaves, and lots of heavy gold gilding. It is hand painted and artist signed AB (Burton,A). Burton was an artist with Pickard Studio in Chicago between 1898-1903, prior to his work for Stouffer, Brauer, and White's Studios. The bowl measures 9 3/8" handle to handle, and stands 2" high. It is in very fine condition. There is a small bit of gold missing from the thin gold band (see photo), otherwise the gold and painted areas are excellent. Brauer Studio mark 4 (1910-1916).
