Vintage Photograph Frame Table Top Gilt Brass Oval Spiral Twist

This lovely vintage photograph frame, circa 1910 to 1920s, features an oval gilded brass inner frame, with decorative spiral twist brass applied to the outer edge, creating a wonderful see-through effect. The lovely lady in the photograph was original to the frame, as I received it. Photo is behind glass.

Back of frame has the original metal covering, with a tubular wire easel, marked at the top “patent applied for”. Easel is strong and in perfect condition.

Frame measures 6 inches high and approximately 4 3/4 inches across. Photo area 5 1/2 inches by 4 inches.

Gilt shows only small amounts of wear or discoloration, but nothing of significance. Frame is in fabulous condition, and will display your treasured photos with elegance.
