These glass spice jars with tin lids were made early 1900s for the Hoosier style cabinets (Hoosier, Sellers, Napanee, Wilson, McDougall, Boone). Style was called Traditional Mission. Front of jar has a blank banner space for applying a spice label.
Glass is in very good condition, clear and bright, with no cloudiness or stains. Two jars have a little roughness around the rim on the inside edge. There are some small bubbles and lines, consistent with this early glass. Screw on metal lids are in good condition, though one has been painted green and one has a dent and doesn't screw on quite as nicely as the others. One cover is missing, but these are available on the internet.
Jars measure 4 1/2 inches high and 2 1/4 inches wide.
