Settling Chair or Milking Stool
This lovely red painted chair has been referred to as a settling chair for children who get naughty. Several minutes in this chair facing the wall would certainly make one think about misbehaving again. It looks lovely sitting on the hearth even if you don't use it as such. It measures 43" high from floor to top of back tip. Seat to floor is 14" and the seat is 13.5 across. Good strong, heavy solid wood construction and legs are well balanced. Slightly glazed with antiquing finish over bright cherry red paint. Smooth finish. Beautiful addition to the den or kitchen area.
