Fostoria "American" Early Open Jelly Compote
This pretty little open jelly compote was made by the Fostoria Glass Company from 1915 until 1982. This is the "American" pattern. When placed under a black light, this has a brilliant yellow green glow. Often that is an indication of old age in glass. In this case, it suggests this particular piece was made early on in the production of this pattern. This measures 4 1/2 inches across the center of the top and stands 4 1/4 inches tall. Condition is extremely fine.
