Vintage Stratton Compact, Brilliant Red Enamel with Gold-Tone Geometric Pattern

Here's a pretty vintage Stratton compact in a brilliant red enameling, with an attractive gold-tone geometric pattern in the middle. The compact is in the Princess style, with the distinctive scalloped edge, made by Stratton from 1954 to about 1964. It has a diameter of 3-3/8". It is in excellent condition. It comes with the original Stratton sifter. There is an annulus or ring rather than a full inner lid. The backing to the puff is present, but the puff is not. It is marked Stratton, Made in England.
