This lovely carnival glass plate is in the Three Fruits pattern from Northwood in the somewhat rare green color. Measuring 9" in diameter, the plate is a wonderful example of early carnival glass. The plate has a pie crust rim and is slightly elevated by the plate's foot. It is not stippled and has a plain back. The plate stands 1 ½" tall at the rim. The Northwood mark is at the center of the bottom. The plate is in excellent condition with no wear, apart from scratches to one of the apples. There are a couple of manufacturing flaws, not unusual for early glass. They include two straw marks measuring about 1" each, among the pattern so barely noticeable, and one thread like flaw inside the glass, which is most visible when held up to the light.
