Vintage Butterscotch Pyramid Art Deco Jabot Pin
Rich butterscotch pyramids tip the ends of this art deco jabot pin from the 1920s-1930s. The pyramids rest upon squares of a lighter color base. The larger pyramid has a base just under an 1" square, and 9/16" tall. The smaller pyramid has a base slightly more than ½" square. The pin is in excellent condition. The base has a couple of light pink spots. The pin from pyramid to pyramid is 3 ¼".

A jabot was a ruffle worn on a man's shirt or woman's blouse, and the jabot pin was designed to hold the jabot onto the front of the shirt/blouse. Many jabots of this era were fine jewelry with gold, diamonds and other precious stones. This more modest version still boasts plenty of style.
