This 7 1/4" alphabet plate has a crisp image transfer printed in rich chocolate brown with a pearlware glaze.
This wonderful plate is out of the aesthetic period symbolizes the Victorians love of nature. The entire alphabet is applied on this charming plate as it is mixed with ferns and wild grasses, oversized wild roses, daisies, and flowering bachelors buttons. Perched in the center is a lovely songbird enjoying this splendor.
Never Used. Condition is EXCELLENT. No chips, no cracks, no hairlines and no repairs. Plates like these were given as gifts to children on special occasions and were used as educational tools, as well.
