This 7 1/4 " plate has a crisp image transfer printed in rich chocolate brown with great color polychrome hand painting, clobbering in shades of cinnamon brown, gold, cool green, and cobalt blue. The image is part of the Nursery Tales series coveted by collectors.

In addition to the entire ABC alphabet transfer with the classic Brownhills decorative transfer, this plate has a central cartouche of Jack and Jill and their pail tumbling down the hill. Outstanding transfer !

Very clean and bright, in Excellent condition. Plates like these were given as gifts to children on special occasions and were used as educational tools, as well. A lovely addition to your ABC collection.
