This large 8 1/8 " plate has a crisp image transfer printed in rich chocolate brown with great four color polychrome hand painting, clobbering in shades of red, cinnamon brown, green and cobalt blue.

In addition to the entire ABC alphabet transfer with the classic Brownhills decorative transfer, this plate has an aesthetic central design seperating the alphabet from the pair of Magpies, one perched on a spring twig while the other is in flight over the grasslands..

Condition is excellent ! No chips, no cracks, no hairlines and no repairs. Very light wear to the center of the plate.
