An outstanding perfume bottle made by STYLEBUILT Accessories, NY, c.1940-50's. Fabulous large heavily gilded solid brass filigree perfume decanter. It has a large glass encasement "window" which showcases a perfume-vial, and some ornate vining leaves. This is a heavy quality piece with the glass panels front and back being nicely bevelled. The glass-encased perfume-vial is accessed by the large filigree topper with attached glass dauber. This over-sized decanter, measures a 9" tall and makes a statement on the vanity. Condition is wonderful! Unlike MATSON, who embossed their company logo in the metal, Stylebuilt used paper labels or hang tags which were usually removed, as is the case here.
