Antique Buttons ~ Bug Filigree and Steel Cut
A wonderful group of antique buttons, at least circa 1900. The bug button is lounging on a lotus leaf. It has a very Art Nouveau look but Victorians loved their nature inspired designs as well so if falls somewhere between those two time periods. Very detailed and in perfect condition. 1 1/8" across. The steel one a lovely scroll design with a faceted steel bead center. The filigree one is brass and had washes of red and gold on it. Three gems for a serious button collection or to finish off a special outfit.
