Ornate c.1910 RS Germany creamer with the calla lily (FD79) decoration on a pearl luster finish back ground is being offered for your consideration. The creamer is in excellent condition. Floral decoration FD 79 is featured on page 278 of Gaston's R.S. Prussia Popular Lines. This is a beautiful Edwardian ornate mold, as of this writing we have not discovered it's mold id., the handle and body are particular striking. The creamer measures 3 3/8 inches tall, 3 7/8 inches spout to back of handle and 2 1/8 by 2 inches across is throat opening. It has the R.S. or Reinhold Schlegelmilch star and wreath mark with Germany underneath. There are no chips or hairlines; some minor gilding lose and era typical manufacturing anomalies of iron specks, glaze skips and tiny transfer imperfections are all that are notable and they are noticed only on very close inspection. A treasure for any porcelain or creamer collection! (E011-995)
