Set of 8, c.1900 Butter Pats w/ Pink Roses by Oscar & Edgar Gutherz

Set of 8, fine Austrian porcelain butter pats with a pink floral/roses design are being offered for your consideration. These hard to find Art Nouveau (1880-1914) era beauties were produced in Altrohlau, Austria by Oscar & Edgar Gutherz. The mark dates their production between 1899 to 1918. They have an ornate body with a scalloped edge, raised beading and gold trim. The center decorations are variations of the same pink rose/flower with green foliage. There are no chips or cracks and the glaze is bright and shiny on all with only light scuffing from stacking. Each pat measures 3 1/2 inches in diameter. There are the era typical glaze skips, specs of iron, glaze dust bumps and decal/decoration skips. A fabulous find for the collector and wonderful addition to any fine dinnerware collection for display or use at your next gourmet dinner party!
