Nemo's Blue Rhinestone Brooch & Earrings - Sapphire Square Rhinestones

NEMO, in block letters was the trademark used by the Brier Manufacturing Co. of Providence, R. I. in 1955. The Brier Manufacturing Co. was the second largest jewelry manufacturing company in the in world, second only to Coro and specialized in creating imitation diamond jewelry using very fine rhinestones they imported from all over the world. These beauties certainly display that magnificently!

The ribbon ends of the earrings are articulated (swing free); they are constructed with a hook and eye allowing them to dangle from the bow. The earrings measure 1 3/8 inches long and the screw portion of both the mechanisms are signed, Nemo. The matching pretty as a picture brooch measures 1 3/4 by 1 1/2 inches and is unsigned. The pin back and safety locking 'C' clasp function properly. All the stones are present and appear original; on close or magnified inspection some age appropriate light peppering and slight yellowing of the adhesive are present.
