Large Limoges porcelain 3-section server with a hand-painted floral design, a twig handle and heavy gold trim by A. Lanternier Porcelain Works is being offered for your consideration. The server is in excellent condition with 80-90% of its gold trim remaining, no chips, hairlines or cracks. This gorgeous porcelain piece was factory decorated by the manufacturer, A. Lanternier between 1891 and 1914 and it can also be seen in a slightly different floral design on page 229 of the 'Collector's Guide to Limoges' by Mary Frank Gaston. The server measures a large 10 inches by 9 3/4 inches and is 3 1/2 inches tall at its highest point of the handle; a fabulous find for the Limoges fine porcelain collector or gourmet looking for that perfect specialty server!
