Limoges c.1898 Porcelain Teapot Trivet - Blue & White Windmill Scene by Tressemann & Vogt

Limoges porcelain tea tile or tea pot trivet by Tressemann & Vogt depicting a blue & white windmill scene is being offered for your consideration. This beautiful example of Tressemann & Vogt's porcelain workmanship depicts a hand-painted windmill scene in blue and white; the tile has the rolled up lip around the outside edge to keep the tea pot in place and sets on glazed porcelain half-ball feet. It measures slightly over 6 3/4 inches and is signed T. V., Limoges and France (Gaston's mark #7), indicating it was produced between 1892 and 1907. The bottom of the trivet is unglazed, while the three half ball feet are glazed. A wonderful addition to any Limoges, tea pot or tea service collection for display or use! (200-4000)
