c.1892 Limoges Porcelain Floral Cache - Waste Pot by Tressemann & Vogt, TV

An embossed porcelain handled waste or cache pot / jar with a beautiful floral design by the famous Tressemann & Vogt of Limoges, France is being offered for your consideration. The marks on the bottom are for the manufacturer, Tressemann & Vogt or initials TV and the importer of the piece. The pot is in excellent condition; no chips, cracks or hairlines. It measures 3 3/4 inches tall by 5 inches at widest to edge of the handle, the base measures 2 5/8 inches in diameter. Little of the gold trim that once accented the handle remains today. A very unique piece of Victorian/Edwardian (1892-1907) porcelain for your collection or use it at your next gourmet banquet or meal, as it was intended (for table waste/trash; wrappers, bones, tea bags, etc.) and as many Europeans still do to this day.
