Brilliant Smallhouse Floral Footed Vase

Presented is this beautiful, signed piece by Dave Smallhouse. It is about 10 1/2" tall and has 4 1/4" opening. The colors, as typical of Smallhouse, are brilliant and interesting. The vase features three pink flower buds against an orange background. Leaves come up from the footed base. The base is inscribed with his signature and the number 3-2009-13.

David Smallhouse began his career as a glassblower at a well known Northern California studio, Orient and Flume, where he worked for about 20 years. His designs represent a vibrant composite of his expression, enthusiasm and experience. He is shown in the Museum of Glass in Corning, NY as well as the Smithsonian and many fine galleries across the United States and Canada.
