Edgar Bergen Effanbee "Charlie Mc Carthy" 16" Puppet/Dummy
This 1930's Charlie Mc Carthy still has most of his original clothes. The 16" doll has a composition head with wooden painted hands and feet and a cloth body. The composition shows signs of heavy crazing with some of the finish as noted off around the bottom lip. The string on the back does work, but maybe missing a loop for the end. It is marked on the back of the neck as shown with Edgar Bergen Charlie Mc Carthy and Effanbee Product. Comes with a metal stand for display that is about 10" tall. Hard to find a piece in this great of condition.
