Tiffin Copen Blue Swedish Optic Compote Crystal Ball Stem Elegant Glass Vintage
This stunning piece of vintage 1940s Elegant glass was produced by Tiffin and was named Swedish Optic but is sometimes called Saturn also. A fabulous precursor to the mid century modern period this piece features a Copen blue bowl and boot with a large crystal ball stem in between and a wide optic to the bowl.
This piece is a compote or stemmed bowl which is not one I've seen before. It's a wonderful piece and measures 8" in diameter and 6 1/4" tall. This bowl is in excellent condition. It has one or two spots of light wear from age but no chips, nicks or cracks at all.
