Vintage Lancaster Sandland Bluff King Hal Toby Mug Jug English Pottery

This fantastic example of English Pottery is a Toby Mug or Jug which was produced by Lancaster Sandland between the 1940s and 1970s. This figural piece is an image of Bluff King Hal, I've seen reference to him being a Pirate King but to me he looks like Henry VIII.

It is marked on the base with the Lancaster mark and the name King Hal followed by Reg No. 813218

This mug measures 4 1/4" tall and 4 1/2" wide not including the handle. It is in excellent condition with no chips, nicks or cracks at all and I don't see any crazing except for a tiny spot on the base.
