Garden of Eden EAPG Bread Plate Antique Pressed Glass 1870s Serving Platter

This wonderful piece of antique glass was produced in the late 1870s or early 1880s by an unknown manufacturer, though some suspect Portland Glass. The pattern is called Garden of Eden but is also known as Fish, Lotus, Lotus with Serpent or Turtle.

The platter has a fantastic all over design and the words "Give us this day our daily bread". It is oval in shape and has a handle on either end.

The dish measures 12 1/2" long and 9 1/4" wide.

In very good condition it has some very light roughness to the edges in places, but no major chips or cracks at all. It would make a stunning wall display or centerpiece for your table.
