Fenton Vaseline Topaz Stretch Carnival Glass Bowl Large Vintage Art Glass 1920s

This stunning Vaseline Glass bowl was produced by Fenton and is part of the Stretch Glass lines they produced between 1917 and the 1930s. A stunning Canary Yellow in color, called Topaz by Fenton, it is finished with an iridescent layer which "Stretched" when the glass was then manipulated more. This is where the term Stretch Glass comes from.

This bowl is a fantastic example of Fenton's Stretch Glass. It measures 9 1/2" in diameter and 3 3/8" tall. The base diameter is 3 7/8" which is one of the indications that it was produced by Fenton rather than another company.

This piece is in excellent condition. It has no chips, nicks or cracks at all and would make a stunning addition to any Vaseline or Stretch glass collection. It does glow brightly under a Blacklight as show in the photos.
