Royal Doulton Queen Elizabeth at Kenilworth Bowl Historic England Pottery 1940s

This beautiful example of vintage Royal Doulton pottery is part of the Historic England series which was produced between 1938 and 1952. The bowl depicts Queen Elizabeth riding her horse outside Kenilworth Castle, which was home to the Earl of Leicester.

The rectangular bowl has a wonderful scalloped shape to the inside, with a scroll at the top and bottom of the image. The picture is highly detailed and in excellent condition with no wear. The colors are still bright and cheerful.

This piece measures 9 1/8" long and 6 7/8" in width. It is in very good condition with some slight wear from age around the inner rim. It is marked with the Royal Doulton mark on the back as well as Registration numbers.
