Victorian Silverplate Toast Rack Norton and White EPNS 1880s
As many of my regulars will know I grew up in England, when I was a child we shared a house with my grandmother and I always remember having a Toast Rack on the table at breakfast time. There's just something elegant about a toast rack and it really adds a touch of class to any breakfast table.
This toast rack would be perfect for your home dining needs, or it would make a charming addition to a bed and breakfast or small hotel dining room. It is Silver Plate and is marked on the base "N.W. EPNS 635". This mark was used by Norton and White between 1883 and 1899 so you can be sure that this piece is a genuine antique.
In excellent condition it has the majority of it's silver plate intact, with just one small area of wear that is barely noticeable. It measures just over 3" long and 4 1.2" in height.
