Salvador Vasquez Tonala Mexican Pottery Vase Folk Art Signed Vintage

This stunning example of vintage Mexican Folk Art Pottery was made in Tonala Mexico by Salvador Vasquez and is signed as such on the base. I have shown the Tonala mark and you can see the S next to it that I've been told is the mark of Salvador Vasquez. This artist is considered one of the great masters of Mexican folk art pottery.

This is a lovely large vase in a rectangular shape. It has rich, deep earth tones and a central image of a Bluebird and flowers on both the front and back.

This piece measures 8 1/2" tall, 5 3/4" wide and 3 1/2" deep. It is in excellent condition with no chips, nicks or cracks at all.
