From the 1940s or so we present this lovely Mother-of-Pearl teething ring with a bell like design sterling handle that is open at the bottom. The design on the sterling is that wonderful scroll and clock with the month, year and time open so that it can be engraved. It has not been engraved so certainly open to a purchaser to do so if they wish. The teething ring part has a diameter of 1-3/4". The sterling part from bale down is 2-3/4" long by 1-1/4" wide toward the bottom. The bale is that unusual belt and buckle design. The whole piece is 3" long. The sterling has patina which I will not remove unless requested to by a purchaser. Other than the patina this piece is in excellent vintage condition and is marked "STERLING" under the bale on the back. There is not a clangor inside and looks like there never was one - just a faux bell. This may be from the Webster Silver Company but there is nothing indicating that on the piece. *DM
