Rare Terracotta Wedgwood Heart Shaped Trinket Box

From the late 1950s we present this lovely vintage trinket box in that unusual and rather rare terra cotta color. The box lid has the Greek/Roman figures (2 female and one male) with one playing a form of the harp. There are little white jasperware flowers on either side of the design and then that wonderful white jasperware trim all the way around. The box part has little four leaf clover like designs as well as regular 4 leaf floral designs all the way around. The box is 5" by 4" and stands 2" high with the lid on. It is marked "Wedgwood Made in England" on the bottom. It also has two unusual little marks there that I don't recognize. This is from the Wedgwood terracotta period from 1957 to 1959. The box is in pristine vintage condition with no chips, cracks or anything else. *SS
