Micro Mosaic Star Brooch/Pin

Don't you love the craftsmanship of these vintage micro mosaics? This is a wonderful star shaped micro mosaic brooch in bright blue and coral shades with a gorgeous floral centre and cream surround. The brooch measures 1 inch by 1 inch, is set in brass and has tiny brass balls at regular intervals between the star bursts. The brooch is in fine condition and appears to have almost all of its tessarae intact. It dates to the late 19th or early 20th century and is Italian in origin. The reverse of the pin is marked "Made in Italy" and is closes with a pin and "C" clasp.

This would make a unique gift for a special friend or a wonderful addition to a micro mosaic collection. It is bound to attract attention and compliments.
