This is a beautiful vintage French porcelain dresser box decorated by the Atelier Camille Le Tallec in Paris. The top and sides are a deep dark blue with an elaborate scroll design of rich gold. The centre of the lid features a milky white medallion with a vibrant floral centre. The inside of the box is also milky white with a charming floral centre which resembles the lid. The box measures just under 3 inches at its widest point and approximately 2 1/2 inches from hinge to brass flower opening. Based on the letter code within the signature on the bottom of the box, the piece appears to date to 1969. The bottom of the box reads "Le Tallec Paris" and is signed with the distinctive "LT" motif and the initials of the painter of the piece,"GD".
