Sterling Shell "Family Gathering" Brooch/Pendant with Chain.

I absolutely fell in love with this natural beauty. If you look closely at the figures you will see an abstract outline of two hunched over figures. The first one could be the father with the jutting wide shoulders and the second figure, the mother. It looks like she is ready to kiss the head of her child. The 3 smaller figures outline the small children.

Shell is bezel set and measures 2 1/4 inches in length and 1 3/4 inches across the center. It has a mother of pearl color with beige/pink overtones. Stamped sterling on bale.

Chain measures 14 1/2 inches, has a lobster hook closure and is stamped Italy 925. Chain was imported.

A versatile piece that can be worn as a brooch or pendant.
