Victorian dog pull toy large FRENCH BULLDOG German
...At one time I'm sure he had a beautiful collar with leash and 2 front wheels. Now this gently played with FRENCH BULLDOG is missing the collar/leash and his front wheels. He still stands proud and who can resist that face. Large 10"tall and 10" nose to tail. Wood legs, worn fur over hollow paper mache body. Plaster nose, painted mouth, glass eyes. Fur has started to separate at the chest and front leg. Needs front wheels or you can remove the back wheels. He stands just fine with only the back wheels. NOT like the newer brown & white copy..Guaranteed OLD and ORIGINAL... collector asked if it is the 1913 dog in the Steiff book ????(sorry no tag or button)
