Unusual Amber Glass Lay Down Double Scent Bottle, Sterling

A stunning 19th century scent bottle is 10 faceted and double ended with beautiful deep repousse engraved caps.

Rare to find an "Amber" colored flask, and this is the first one we've every come across. The bottle would make a wonderful addition to any collection.

Measuring 125mm long, it is elegant at 26mm wide. One end has a cork insert to prevent dehydrating while the other end has a hinged cap and crystal inner stopper. Caps are typically unmarked but tested to confirm Sterling.

CONDITION: In overall excellent antique condition. Does not appear to have ever been used. Acquired from an Australian Collection.

This bottle will be shipped at no charge to our client.
