Double sided Vesta case stores matches on one side with a cigar nipper on the other side along with the strike.

Flat on both sides, this lozenge shape box measures 2.25" (approx 57mm) long x 0.90" wide (23mm) x 0.12" (8mm) deep. Textural engraving throughout with a polished blank cartouche, ready to personalize should you choose to. Secure lift top openings are easily maneuvered.

Tested as .925 or higher sterling. No Hallmarks that we can find but a tiny punch stamp in the interior floor indicating it was imported from somewhere to its' eventual selling agent. A nice heft at 22.8 grams by scale. 19th Century.

Our fine sterling smalls arrive cleaned using non residue forming methods for cleaning. Always nicely presented and shipped at no charge to our clients.
