Long Handled Sterling Tea Strainer, 19th Century

A very nice Tea Strain with a generous scalloped edge bowl comes on an ornate engraved and cut out handle.

The Strainer measures 5.5" long end to end, while the bowl itself is 2.25" and approx .75" deep.

CONDITION: Excellent antique condition with no damage and only minute evidence of historic wear to note. The bowl is high polished while the handle and cup ridge are slightly less so. this has a beautiful heft at 43 grams by scale. There is an import punch mark and the 925 marks but nothing else. I am going to guess this was Continental and imported into the US where we acquired it.

Our fine sterling smalls are always beautifully presented and shipped at no charge to our clients.
