A gorgeous pin set with 105 round, brilliant cut Diamonds is classic and elegant in the form of a lucky horseshoe atop a stylized leaf.
The brooch measures 45mm x 32mm with a depth of approximately 9mm. It was designed to be worn in any of the four directions.
A rhodium finished back insures there is no staining to fine clothing. Safety clasp and a rigid ring to allow for hanging vertically in pendant form from a chain.
CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition with only minute evidence of historic wear. Original broaching assembly is fully intact and functional. Diamonds: round, brilliant cut. (105) 8 - .28ct each make up the horseshoe. 97 - ranging from .0225 - .0250mm are set throughout the leaf. Total carat weight is just shy of 7 carats (by gauge & formula.) Clarity: SI 1-2 Color Range: G-H Cuts: Good. Markings: 14K (white gold). Weight by scale: 14.3 grams. This brooch was finely crafted by hand, NYC, circa 1950's
