A stunning pair of Victorian earrings features a Sciacca Coral cabochon center inset a 6 point star set with a tiny Diamond in each of the points.
The 14K red gold mounts are closed back with french wire hangers. They measure a very wearable 18mm (a tad under .75") round.
CONDITION: Very fine antique condition with no damage to note. We have necessarily replaced the worn French Backs with new ones. Diamonds: (12) Rose Point totaling .20 carat. Coral: (2) well matched low cabochon or button cut Sciacca Coral of dense & even tone. Weight by scale: 9 grams. Origin is unknown. 19th Century.

These are gorgeous and most unusual. I've not come across another of kind. The tiny antique Diamonds add just glisten juxtaposing the softness of the round coral. If there is a flaw in these - it's that they don't photograph well, reflecting on everything! Much prettier in person.
