Beautiful Amethyst Drop Earrings, 14K Yellow Gold - Vintage

The Amethysts are all cabochon cut with the top stones being 6mm round (approx .63 carat each) and the bottom drops being 8mm x 10mm (approx 2.40 carats each.) The gemstones are set in beautifully detailed rich, hand crafted yellow gold mounts. The earrings sit well on the ear and have nice movement. Post and large butterfly backs.

CONDITION: Very fine vintage condition with no losses, damage or repairs to note. No Markings on the earrings. Posts are marked 14K and all parts have been acid tested to 14K. Bloomed gold is gorgeously set off against the deep Amethysts. Weight by scale: 6.4 grams. These likely date to the mid 20th century.
