Sterling Sovereign Case, Circa 1912 - Birmingham

A lovely round Sovereign Case in the form of a pocket watch is nicely engraved on both sides with an clean cartouche in the shape of a shield on one side.

The case measures 1.25" x 2" x .25" and opens with the push down of the top "winder" as would a pocket watch.

CONDITION: Very fine near antique condition with no damage and only the expected historic wear to note. Engraving remains crisp with no worn down areas (just few photographic flash reflections.) Coin spring is firm and fully functional. Weight by scale: 18.3 grams. Marks for: Birmingham, the year 1915, and the Makers' Mark JC Ltd.
