Large Sterling Match Strike, c 1900

A large and unusual horizontal shaped Match Strike dates to the late Victorian period.

Elaborate detailed engraving, this one does have a personalized cartouche - that I myself can't decipher!

The Strike measures a generous 2 1/8" x 1 1/2" excluding the bale attachments.

CONDITION: Fine antique condition this piece has been well used and enjoyed. It has a good heft at 31.6 grams (basically 1 ounce) and was made by Levi & Salaman. Hallmarks for Chester, circa 1900.

Our sterling smalls are always cleaned before they leave here, beautifully presented and shipped at no charge to our clients.

A particularly nice piece to add to any collection.
