Rare Sterling Tea Caddy in the Form of a Georgian Knife Box, London - Circa 1899

This simple and elegant tea caddy of heavy gauge silver presents in the form of a Georgian Knife Box.

The caddy stands 3.5" high x 2.5" wide and deep with a hinged lid and nicely detailed handle hinged handle.

Hallmarks appear on the gilt interior lid and on the underside of the caddy. A logo also appears at the back on the interior body.

CONDITION: Very fine antique condition. No personalization. In proper alignment. Hinges are strong and the caddy opens and closes as it should. By Maker Edward Barnard. All appropriate Hallmarks for Edward Barnard (Walter, Michael, John Barnard & Sons with Robert Dubock.) Weight by scale: 146 grams. Circa 1899.
